"Extended Body BWO"

Recipe from Dick Lane

Hook :  Mustad®  94840 or it equivalent  sizes 10 - 22    
Thread :  to match thorax dubbing
Tail :    3 moose mane hairs  over which is braided or weaved the extended body.  Tail sections are 1 1/2 body length.
Body :   size *G* threads, one darker than the other. Over which you use to weave the body over the Moose Mane and hook.
Thorax :  to match the local naturals
Wing  : your choice of  Wally Wings, cut wings, para-post, Calf tail, antron yarn or Zelon® to suit your needs. you can even use down wings.
Hackle :  I prefer Grizzly, Cree, Lite, Dark, medium  blue dun, Badger, brown. Use to suit you . Even dyed Grizzly in Olive and greens, Use these colors to make yellow sally's, para-adams, Green Drakes.   I prefer para-post wings and cut wings. With the cut wings you can tie them in Parachute or conventional.
Head :  a small neat thread head.
